An expert talk on “Investigative Journalism” By Shri Pawan Kumar Bansal

The Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology organised an expert talk on the topic of ‘Investigative journalism’ on 28 Oct. 2022. The resource person was Shri Pawan Kumar Bansal, renounced investigative journalist and former special correspondent for Indian Express and Jansatta. According to him, the ‘source’ is next to the god and one must not reveal his source ever to anyone. He also emphasized the fact that the news should have a follow-up pattern and an investigative journalist must be alert all the time. He shared the stories of personal experiences with students and advised them to become honest person first and then a journalist. Prof. Sushil Manav, Dean FMMT welcomed the guest and all the people present at the event. The Program was moderated by MJMC 1st year student, Tannu.
