Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University to organise Introductory course on ‘Research methodology and Biostatistics’

SGT University, Gurugram has been designated as a state training center for Delhi & NCR region by the Institute of Applied Statistics (IAP) for Dr. Padam Singh’s research and development scheme. The main goal of this scheme is to provide quality research education through experienced and renowned national faculty members from different prestigious national organizations. The first-course Introductory Course on Research Methodology and Biostatistics and Inauguration of the center will be conducted on 4th -5th March 2022 at SGT Hospital Auditorium.
A total of 100 delegates from SGT University and PGIMS, Rohtak, Sudha Rustagi Dental College, Faridabad and also from Amity University, Greater Noida will be participating in the event to enhance their knowledge about quality research. The delegates include faculty members, postgraduates, Ph.D. scholars along with undergraduate students and interns from various faculties like Faculty of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Forensic Sciences and Faculty of Indian Medical System. Dr. Padam Singh (Chief Statistical Advisor, Planning Commission, Govt of India, Former ADG, Indian Council of Medical Research) will be the Chief Guest. Guest Speakers of the program are Dr Shubham Pandey (National Coordinator PSRD Scheme) and Dr Hitesh Khurana (Professor, PGIMS Rohtak). It will be the first of its kind course on research methodology in Delhi NCR Region.
