Faculty of Indian Medical System celebrates Charak Jayanti 2022

Faculty of Indian Medical System celebrated Charak Jayanti 2022 through a Guest Lecture titled “Stupendous Charak Samhita” by Dr. Santosh SR Nair, Associate Professor, and Head, Dept. Of Basic Principles, CBPACS, New Delhi.
The event commenced by seeking the blessings of lord and lamp lighting. Ms Itishree and Ms. Vanshika recited Dhanwantari Sutra and Charak Ashtaka.
Dr. Konica, co-advisor, Dhanwantari Ayurveda Association, presented a brief outline of the event and introduced the guest speaker. The welcome note was delivered by Dr. Milind Deshmukh, Advisor, Dhanwantari Ayurveda Association, SGT University. Dr. Nair emphasized on the relevance of basic principles of Ayurveda in present scenario. He explained how the terminologies of Ayurveda can be understood in contemporary era. He advised the students to focus on application-based learning.
Prof. Prasanna V. Savanur addressed students in his presidential address. Dr. Savanur guided the students to work hard for their science which would help them in achieving their goals.
Ms. Ayushi, student member of Dhanwantari Ayurveda Association delivered the vote of thanks.
