Faculty of Nursing SGT university organises quiz competition on ‘Nurture Young Minds to Develop Safety Culture’ on the occasion of National Safety Day at Government Senior Secondary School Daultabad.

The wellbeing association under the Community Health Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing SGT University organized a quiz competition on ” Nurture young minds to develop safety culture” on the occasion of National safety day at Government Senior Secondary School Daultabad on 4th march. This program aimed to create awareness & enhance knowledge about safety and first aid of minor ailments. The activities included Quiz competition & first aid mock drill organized by Faculty of Nursing Mr. Naveen Vats, Ms. Jyoti Rani, Ms. Khiumajuliu Abonmai and students of M.sc nursing 1st year Ms. Sushmita Sharma, Ms. Soumi Das, Mr. Rohit Kadian. The no. Of 25 students of class 9th and 11th have participated in Quiz competition categorized in A, B, C, D, E team & the team E won this Quiz competition. After this, a mock drill on first aid of minor ailments was organized and performed.
This program was highly acknowledged and appreciated by the Principal (Mrs. Anju Paruthi) and faculty of Govt. Senior secondary school. They also motivated the students for further participation in future programs. The whole program was under the supervision of Ms. Deepa Mukherjee and Mrs. Sameeksha Bhardwaj and guidance by Prof. Dr. S K Dular Dean cum Head of Department of Community Health Nursing.
