The Faculty of Education in collaboration with Faculty of Nursing celebrated ‘World Autism Day’.

Department Of Special Education, Faculty of Education in collaboration with Faculty of Nursing celebrated ‘World Autism Day’on 3rd April 2023 under the umbrella of ‘Qabil’ the Academic Association. As educationists we always promote the idea, ‘We must do better, by promoting inclusive education, equal opportunities, self-determination, and an environment where every person is respected’ so today and
every day, let us fully recognize the active and diverse contributions of a person with Autism to our society. The heart core of this event was to motivate our learners and make them aware of children with special needs. The event was organized in close collaboration with respectively two NGOs, Khushboo welfare society and Sampoorn Special School. Dr. Atul Nasa sir was auspiciously present as chief guest and addressed the event by highlighting the contribution we can make as an individual to this end. The program was successfully held Under the guidance of Prof (Dr.) Madhavi Sharma (Dean, Faculty of Education) and Prof. (Dr.) Pity Koul Dean Faculty of Nursing. The event was coordinated by Ms. Poonam Talwar (Asst. Prof Dept. Of Special Education), Ms. Kul Pooja (Asst. Prof Dept. Of Child Health Nursing), and Co-coordinated by Ms. Divya Sharma (Asst. Prof Dept. Of Special Education) and Members of the association Mr. Chandan Kumar Dubey (Asst. Prof Dept. Of Special Education), Mr. Parveen Kumar Jat (Asst. Prof Dept. Of Special Education) and Ms. Jyoti (PG Tutor Mental Health Nursing)
