Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Cut by ₹33.50, New Rates Effective

Starting August 1, 2025, oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19kg commercial LPG cylinders by ₹33.50. The latest price revision comes as part of the monthly update and brings relief to restaurants, hotels, and other commercial establishments relying heavily on LPG.

According to the updated rates, the price of a 19kg commercial cylinder in Delhi now stands at ₹1,631.50. The rate cut is expected to benefit businesses across major cities, helping ease operating costs amid inflationary pressures.

This change, however, does not apply to domestic LPG cylinders. The cost of a 14.2kg domestic cylinder remains unchanged, providing no immediate relief to household consumers.

The price of commercial LPG is generally revised at the beginning of every month, taking into account global energy prices, currency fluctuations, and local tax structures. The reduction is viewed as a positive move for small businesses and the food industry, which are sensitive to fuel costs.

Experts say that while the commercial sector has received a breather, the unchanged domestic LPG prices suggest the government may be observing global trends before making household-level changes.

This announcement is part of ongoing efforts by oil companies to balance market dynamics while maintaining affordability in key sectors. The government continues to monitor crude oil and gas prices worldwide, ensuring timely revisions to keep essential services and industries running smoothly.
