Ram Navami Celebrations Begin With Grand Festivities In Ayodhya
Ram Navami, one of the most important Hindu festivals, is being celebrated across India with great devotion and enthusiasm. This festival marks the birth of Lord Ram and holds deep religious significance for millions of devotees.
The main celebrations are taking place in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. Thousands of devotees have gathered in the city to participate in prayers and rituals. The temples in Ayodhya have been beautifully decorated, creating a vibrant and spiritual atmosphere.
One of the key highlights of the celebration is the Surya Tilak ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. During this special moment, a beam of sunlight falls directly on the forehead of the idol of Lord Ram, symbolizing divine blessings. This unique event attracts a large number of devotees and is broadcast live for people across the country.
Devotees are also taking holy dips in the Saryu River and visiting various temples in the city. Special offerings, prayers, and rituals are being conducted throughout the day. The temples remain open from early morning until late at night to accommodate the large number of visitors.
In addition to Ayodhya, grand celebrations are also taking place in other parts of the country. Cultural programs, devotional songs, and religious gatherings are being organized to mark the occasion.
In Chitrakoot, a special दीपोत्सव (Diwali festival) is planned, where lakhs of diyas will be lit along the riverbanks, creating a mesmerizing view. The festival not only reflects religious devotion but also highlights India’s rich cultural heritage.
Ram Navami continues to bring people together in faith and celebration, spreading messages of righteousness, peace, and unity across the nation.
