SGT University celebrates World Leprosy Day

Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences celebrated World Leprosy Day with academic association of Community Medicine Department and Dermatology Department of SGT University on Monday. This program aimed to spread awareness about how the social stigma and Leprosy tackled.
During this program a Nukkad Natak was performed by Interns from Community Medicine and Senior Resident of Dermatology. Through this Nukkad Natak students spread awareness about the ailment and prevent the misconceptions about the disease. On this occasion Dean FMHS Dr SPS Kocchar, Medical Superintendent, SGT Hospital Dr Das, HODs of Community Medicine, Dermatology and other faculty members shared their views on World Leprosy Day.
