World Oral Health Day 2025: A Week-Long Celebration of Smiles & Awareness
New Delhi, April 2025: The Perio Unnati Academic Club, in collaboration with the Department of Periodontology and the Indian Society of Periodontology, successfully hosted a week-long celebration of World Oral Health Day 2025, highlighting the crucial connection between oral health and overall well-being.
With the theme “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind,” the event emphasized the impact of oral hygiene on mental and physical health. A key highlight was the periodontal screening of 1209 patients, conducted throughout the week to promote better oral care practices.
Poster Competition Showcases Creativity
One of the most engaging activities was the Poster Competition, where students showcased their artistic skills to illustrate how good oral health contributes to a healthier mind and body. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students presenting unique perspectives on dental hygiene.
Encouraging Oral Hygiene with Free Toothpaste Distribution
To further promote oral care, free toothpaste samples were distributed to attendees, encouraging them to adopt better oral hygiene habits. The initiative aimed to make dental care more accessible and stress the importance of regular oral care routines.
