A Webinar on “painless tooth extraction by Jalandhar Bandh yoga” was organized on the 12th of April 2023 by the Department of shalakya tantra, faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University. Professor Vaidya Haridra Dave, a highly accomplished individual in the field of Shalakya Tantra was the speaker of the day. The Webinar was conducted in Cisco WebEx Events. The opening remarks and the introduction of the program were done by Dr. Poonam Bamola, Associate Professor in the Department of Shalakya Tantra followed by a Presidential address by Dr. Jyoti Kumbar, Associate Dean, FIMS. The main aim of this webinar was to enlighten the students about the importance and utility of Ayurveda in Tooth extraction. The webinar focused on painless tooth extraction by Jalandhar Bandh Yoga. More than 150 participants from different colleges around the country registered. Professor Vaidya Haridra Dave spoke about the procedure and method of extracting a tooth by means of Jalandhar Bandh without the use of anesthesia. Also, he cleared the doubt about the same by showing videos. In the end, Dr. Anupama Patra, Professor, and HOD, Department of Shalakya Tantra gave the Vote of Thanks and thanked Sir for sparing his time from his busy schedule and sharing his insightful and informative knowledge.
