Army Daredevils Create World Record with Highest Human Pyramid on Motorcycles
The Indian Army’s renowned Motorcycle Rider Display Team, known as the “Daredevils,” has once again made history by setting a new world record for the highest human pyramid on moving motorcycles. This impressive feat was accomplished on Kartavya Path, where a 20.4 – foot-tall pyramid was formed by 40 riders on seven motorcycles. The Daredevils demonstrated exceptional precision and discipline as they covered a 2-kilometer stretch from Vijay Chowk to India Gate.
This achievement highlights the team’s extraordinary skills and dedication. Part of the Army’s Corps of Signals, the Daredevils now hold an impressive total of 33 world records, with entries in the Guinness World Records, Asia Book of Records, and the Limca Book of Records.
The Signals Fraternity, including Lieutenant General KV Kumar, the head of the Corps of Signals, officiated at India Gate at the record-setting event. The celebration erupted with enthusiastic cheers, reflecting the pride and inspiration this performance ignited among those present.
Since their inception in 1935, the Daredevils have a storied tradition of excellence. They have performed over 1,600 motorcycle displays across the country, becoming a highlight of prestigious event Republic Day parades, Army Day celebrations, and military tattoos.
