Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology organizes an Interdisciplinary session on Day 7 of the Elective Observership Program for the students from Manipal University College, Malaysia.
The Advanced Stomato-diagnostic Association(ASDA) constituted under the Department organized the Session on “Management of Oral Lesions- An Ayurvedic Perspective” with the Resource person from the Faculty of Indian Medical System. Dr Anupama Patra, Prof and Head, Dept of Shalakya Tantra apprised the audience about the common oral lesions and their Ayurvedic Management. The audience included the dental faculty and students as well as the students and faculty from Indian Medical System. The event was graced by the presence of Prof Vikas Dhawan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, SGT University, Prof Rajneesh Wadhwa, Dean, External Affairs, Dr Omkar Shetty, Dean Faculty of Dental Sciences and Dr Shourya Tandon, Associate Dean, Faculty of Dental Scienecs.
The event was conceptualised by Dr Astha Chaudhry, Professor and Incharge, OMR and coordinated by Dr Puneeta Vohra, Professor and Advisor ASDA and Dr Srividya, Assistant Professor, OMR.
