Department of Radiodiagnosis under Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, SGT University Holds Hands-on Workshop on ‘CT & MRI in Neuro Cases’

Department of Radiodiagnosis, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram organized a Hands-on Workshop on ‘CT & MRI in Neuro Cases’ on 17 February 2022, in continuation of its persistent efforts on improving the practical skills and knowledge of the postgraduate medical resident trainee doctors of SGT Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute at Hospital auditorium. The workshop was conducted by a renowned radiologist and senior faculty Dr. Atin Kumar, Professor, Department of Radiodiagnosis and Interventional Radiology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The workshop was conducted in the case discussion format wherein Dr(Professor) Atin Kumar successfully crafted and delivered a systematic and holistic problem-solving approach towards interpretation of various interesting neuroradiology cases on CT & MRI. In the process, the expert ensured the highly interactive participation of the residents from various specialties and also encouraged the cultivation of newer problem-solving paradigms in a simplified manner. The interaction proved to be immensely fruitful and encouraging for the residents and faculty alike. Dr Reena Nayyar, Executive Director, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences and Faculty of Nursing graced the occasion and delivered the welcome address. Dr BB Sharma, Professor & HOD, Dept of Radiodiagnosis briefed the participants about the aims & objectives of the workshop. Dr (Brigadier) Chander Mohan, SM, Director Hospital Administration & Professor, Dept of Radiodiagnosis moderated the proceedings and introduced the renowned expert, elaborated about the speakers’ achievements & his contribution to the field of radiology. After an absorbing & professionally enriching academic feast, the workshop was concluded by vote of thanks by Dr Monu Sarin, Professor (Radiodiagnosis).
