Rajasthan’s Manika Vishwakarma Wins Miss Universe India 2025 Crown

In a glittering ceremony held in Jaipur on Monday, August 18, Rajasthan’s Manika Vishwakarma was crowned Miss Universe India 2025. She will now represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to be held in Thailand this November.

The event was marked by glamour and excitement as Miss Universe India 2024 Rhea Singha crowned her successor. Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh was declared the first runner-up, while Mehak Dhingra from Haryana and Amishi Kaushik secured second and third runner-up positions respectively.

Originally from Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan and currently residing in Delhi, Manika is pursuing her degree in Political Science and Economics. At just 22 years old, she has already created a strong portfolio of achievements, balancing her academic journey with artistic and advocacy-driven pursuits.

Manika is a trained classical dancer and an accomplished painter who has represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon initiative under the Ministry of External Affairs. She has also been honored by the Lalit Kala Academy and the JJ School of Arts. Her efforts in the field of advocacy stand out as she is the founder of Neuronova, a platform that reshapes conversations around neurodivergence. She has been vocal about changing perceptions of ADHD and similar conditions, focusing on their potential as cognitive strengths rather than limitations.

After her victory, an emotional Manika credited her journey to her roots and hard work. “My journey started from my hometown, Ganganagar. I came to Delhi and prepared for the competition. We must believe in confidence and courage. Everyone who supported me played a big role in this achievement,” she said.

With her win, Manika has become a symbol of aspiration and empowerment, inspiring young women across the country to dream big. Her representation at the international stage later this year is highly anticipated, as she hopes to bring the Miss Universe crown back to India.
