YUGAM ’26 to Bring Three Days of Talent, Music and Celebration to SGT University

SGT University is gearing up to host YUGAM ’26, its Inter-College/University Youth Festival, from October 12 to 14, 2026. Bringing together talent, creativity, competition and entertainment, the three-day festival will provide students with a vibrant platform to showcase their abilities and celebrate the spirit of youth.
With more than 45 competitions across cultural and sports categories, YUGAM ’26 is expected to feature a diverse range of activities that encourage participation, teamwork and healthy competition. The festival aims to bring students together through shared interests, creative expression and sporting enthusiasm, creating opportunities to connect with peers from different colleges and universities.
Adding to the excitement, popular Punjabi singers Jassie Gill and Babbal Rai are set to perform at the festival. Widely recognised for their musical collaborations and friendship, the duo is popularly known as Punjab’s “Jay-Veeru.” Their appearance promises to be a major highlight of the celebrations, bringing live music and entertainment to the university campus.
The festival’s theme, “Create. Collaborate. Celebrate,” captures its focus on encouraging young people to explore their talents, work together and make memorable experiences beyond the classroom. From cultural performances to competitive sporting events, YUGAM ’26 is designed to celebrate the varied interests and abilities of the student community.
For participating students, the event offers an opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, develop teamwork and present their skills before a wider audience. The competitions are also expected to foster interaction and camaraderie among participants from different institutions.

Scheduled to take place at SGT University, YUGAM ’26 promises three days of energy, enthusiasm and celebration. With a packed competition schedule and a much-anticipated musical night, the festival is set to bring the university community together for an engaging celebration of youth, talent and togetherness.
