National Reference Simulation Centre, SGT University, Gurugram organises five-day training program

Onsite Skill standardization and simulation training for capacity building of Midwifery faculty in India organized by the Indian Nursing Council in collaboration with UNFPA was concluded on Friday at National Reference Simulation Centre, SGT University, Gurugram. Today 5th batch attended the training. The master trainers of the training demonstrated skills and conducted simulation sessions for the participants and later participants were given the opportunity to conduct simulation sessions on their own and perform the hands-on practice of the skill sessions. Post OSCE skill evaluation was conducted on the last day and the difference in scores showed that the training was highly effective. The training was concluded with certificate distribution in the valedictory function by Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, SGT Medical College and Hospital, Gurugram Dr. Banashree Das, Ms. Anu Grover, Director, NRSC, SGT University and Course Director of the training Ms. Amandeep Kaur, Participants very much appreciated the training, felt empowered with the skills up-gradation, and were confident to impart the essential midwifery skills to their students.
