PM Modi Stresses Village Development as Key to Viksit Bharat

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that village development is essential for building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India). Speaking via video message during the Bavliyari Dham program associated with the Bharwad Samaj of Gujarat, he reiterated that collective efforts (Sabka Prayas) represent India’s greatest strength.

Education as the Path to Progress

PM Modi highlighted the critical role of education in empowering communities and driving progress. He encouraged children, particularly daughters, to prioritize academic excellence, thereby contributing to a stronger and self-reliant society. He stated, “When villages progress, the country moves forward. Education is the most powerful tool to bring modernity and prosperity to our communities.”

Recognizing the Contributions of the Bharwad Community

The Prime Minister praised the Bharwad Samaj for their dedication to service, love for nature, and commitment to cow protection. He acknowledged their role in preserving India’s livestock heritage and emphasized the government’s initiatives to support cattle farmers. PM Modi urged community members to take advantage of the government’s free livestock vaccination program to prevent Foot and Mouth Disease. He requested farmers to ensure that their cattle receive regular vaccinations, which is vital for protecting the rural economy and animal health.

Strengthening the Vision of Viksit Bharat

The Prime Minister’s speech reflected his broader vision for Viksit Bharat, where villages are self-sufficient, educated, and technologically advanced. He reiterated that the success of rural India directly contributes to the nation’s overall growth. “The government is committed to ensuring that every village has access to essential services, healthcare, and education. This is the first step towards making Bharat a developed nation,” he added.

Through initiatives such as Digital India, rural infrastructure development, and agricultural reforms, PM Modi reaffirmed the government’s dedication to bridging the urban-rural divide and transforming villages into hubs of opportunity. With rural empowerment at its core, the Viksit Bharat vision strives to create a prosperous, educated, and self-reliant India, driven by the efforts of every citizen.
