SGT University Hosts International Seminar on Innovations in Integrative Healthcare
The Faculty of Physiotherapy at SGT University successfully organized an International Seminar on “Innovations in Integrative Healthcare: Bridging Traditional Knowledge, Modern Medicine, and Multidisciplinary Approaches.” The event began at 9:00 AM and brought together renowned experts, researchers, and healthcare practitioners from India and Indonesia to discuss cutting-edge developments in integrative healthcare.
The seminar served as a platform for exchanging knowledge and fostering discussions on integrating traditional practices, such as Ayurveda, with contemporary medical approaches. Participants shared insights on how multidisciplinary collaborations can enhance patient care and holistic treatment methodologies.
A major highlight of the seminar was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SGT University and four esteemed Indonesian institutions: Indonesia Hindu University, Universitas Hindu Negeri I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa, Kartini Health and Technology, and Airlangga University. This collaboration promotes academic and research exchanges, enabling students and faculty to benefit from cross-cultural learning and joint research initiatives.
The Indonesian delegates expressed admiration for SGT University’s advanced simulation labs, well-equipped Ayurveda Hospital, and the enthusiasm of its students. Their visit marked a pivotal step toward strengthening international academic partnerships and advancing integrative healthcare practices collectively.
Dr. [Name], the Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy, expressed gratitude to all participants and emphasized the importance of global cooperation in addressing complex healthcare challenges. “By merging diverse healthcare traditions and leveraging modern innovations, we can create more effective and patient-centered care models,” Dr. [Name] noted.
The event concluded with a commitment to ongoing collaboration, including plans for future workshops, student exchanges, and joint research projects.
