Gurugram, May 25
World No Tobacco Day is celebrated every year on 31st May. On this day the public is informed about the dangers of using tobacco, the business practices of tobacco companies, what organizations around the world are doing to fight against the use of tobacco, and what people do to claim a healthy lifestyle for themselves and future generations. The academic associations ‘Advanced Stomato Diagnostician and Innova8’ Oral Health Care constituted under the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology and Department of Public Health Dentistry will be celebrating the same on 30th and 31st May 2022 by organizing an outreach activity including health talk and Nukkad-Natak at an outdoor rural setting. Activities would be organized on campus also to have maximum reach and to create awareness in people of all sections and age groups. The theme of the day – ‘Tobacco Is Killing Us and Our Planet’ for the year 2022 will be highlighted to lay emphasis on environmental considerations.
The organizers hope that the event will be fruitful and successful in achieving the intended goal of creating awareness, increasing knowledge, and providing service.
