Women Team Clinches First Position On The Third Day Of Volleyball Tourney
The SGT University is holding a five days Volleyball tournament at the playground of the campus. The tournament was organized by the Department of Sports and Physical Education.
Soon after the game’s announcement, a total of six teams of women and 12 teams of men participated in the Volleyball match. The final match will be held on November 12, at the same sports ground.
Many sports aficionados gathered at the sports ground and cheered for their favourite teams during the third day.
While declaring the result, Uma Dutta, Sports Director of Department of Sports and Physical Education, said that women teams gave a tough competition to the opposite team.
He further said, “During this fast-moving life, sports is an important task with studies to keep mind and body healthy. The department will organize more sports activities in future.”
On the third day of the Volley tournament, the women team gave the tough competition to the other team, and it was the faculty of Nursing and Law who bagged the trophy.
