IndianOil Launches Express Delivery for 10-kg and 5-kg LPG Cylinders
Indian Oil has launched a new express LPG delivery service to enhance the convenience and accessibility of cooking fuel for modern urban households. This initiative includes the introduction of the Indane XTRALITE NOW, a 10-kg composite LPG cylinder, as well as express home delivery for the popular 5-kg Chhotu cylinder.
The new 10-kg Indane XTRALITE NOW cylinder is designed to cater to the evolving needs of urban families and professionals seeking a more flexible LPG solution. Unlike traditional metal cylinders, this composite cylinder is lightweight and rust-resistant. Its translucent body allows users to easily monitor the remaining LPG level, making it simpler to determine when a refill is needed.
A key feature of the new service is its rapid delivery. Customers can receive the 10-kg XTRALITE NOW cylinder within four hours of placing an order, with options for preferred delivery times and minimal documentation. Similarly, the 5-kg Chhotu cylinder will also be available for express home delivery within the same four-hour timeframe.
The service was inaugurated in the presence of A.S. Sahney, Chairman of IndianOil, Saumitra P. Srivastava, Director (Marketing), and other senior officials of the Corporation. During the launch, Sahney emphasized that innovation is valuable when it enhances everyday customer experiences, explaining that the new offering merges advanced cylinder technology with a digitally enabled service model.
Initially, the service will be available in Pune, Gurugram, Indore, and Coimbatore. IndianOil plans to expand to 25 additional cities by mid-August 2026, to reach major cities across the country by the end of October 2026.
Customers can register for new connections and book refills through the IndianOil ONE App and the IndianOil Customer website. The service will be facilitated through IndianOil’s Indane distributor network and select IndianOil Retail Outlets. A WhatsApp booking feature is also expected to be introduced soon.
With fast delivery, flexible cylinder sizes, and digital booking options, IndianOil aims to make LPG access more convenient for the changing needs of urban India.
