SGT University inks MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Tulasi Health Care

Faculty of Nursing, SGT University signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Tulasi Healthcare, Gurugram
In a psychiatric setting, the nursing students develop physical and psychiatric assessment skills, work with a multidisciplinary team of specialists concerned with the health needs of the patients, and involve in discharge planning in collaboration and cooperation with community agencies.
Clinical experience in mental health nursing can positively influence students’ attitudes, readiness for practice, and the popularity of mental health nursing. This preparedness and relevant clinical exposure eliminate the students’ fears towards pursuing a career in mental health nursing.
Signed MOU will help enrich the experience of students, especially in the field of Mental Health Nursing, and is a big step towards enhancing the competency of GNM, BSc, Post Basic BSc, and MSc Nursing students in the care and management of psychiatric patients with diverse conditions.
MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed by Dr. Joginder Yadav, Registrar, SGT University and Ms. Anisha Mahay, HR Manager, Tulasi Healthcare in the gracious presence of Ms. Nikita, Director, Tulasi Healthcare; Dr. Reena Nayyar, Executive Director, SGT University; Dr. Sunil Dular, Dean, Faculty of Nursing and Professor Raman Deep, Head of Mental Health Nursing Department, SGT University.
