Freshers’ party ‘Fledging Fiesta’ organized by Faculty of Physiotherapy

Students of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) 3rd semester and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) 3rd semester welcomed their fresher to the SGT University on December 10 organizing the “Fledging Fiesta” event.
It was enthralling to see students of junior and senior batch coming together to celebrate fresher.
The theme of the party was Hats and Heels, making the set-up at the venue look dark and eerie.
The black color was dominant throughout.
The party was organized at the Shooting Hall, Ground Floor, Block-A from 10:00 AM Auditorium.
Dr. Pooja Anand, Dean, Faculty of Physiotherapy, welcomed all the new students to the campus.
She wished the students great success ahead and hoped they would enjoy their journey at SGT University and would excel both in professional and personnel life.
Followed by the welcome address, faculty and students participated in an auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and offered prayers to Goddess Sarasvati.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Vice-Chancellor Dr. O.P Kalra addressed the students.
He also welcomed the students to the university and highlighted the importance of Physiotherapists in today’s world. He told the students about the formation of the new Haryana State Council and how they can utilize the Facility of Multispecialty Hospital, Sports, Library, Innovation center available at the university for their skill learning.
Freshers’ Party is all about creating everlasting relationships with each other. The event is an indication of union among the students. It manifested youth and enthusiasm at its best. New batch students showcased their talent in singing and dancing. The event was full of life with exhilarating cultural performances by junior and senior batches. The surprise element of the event was a ramp walk of faculty members organized by the students.
Chanchal and Mohit from BPT 1st year were declared Miss fresher and Mr. Fresher and Bhavya and Kanhiya Miss & Mr. well-dressed of the fresher party. Ravya and Nitesh from MPT 1st year were declared Miss and Mr. talented of the Fresher’s party.
