BJP wins in MP, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh; Congress takes Telangana. All eyes on Mizoram now

In the 2023 Assembly Election results, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a significant victory in Madhya Pradesh, dashed Congress’ aspirations in Rajasthan, and surprised observers in Chhattisgarh. Out of the four states declared today, the saffron party emerged victorious in three, while Congress successfully ousted K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Bharat Rashtra Samithi in Telangana. Prime Minister Modi, addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters in Delhi, expressed confidence that the party’s triumphant performance in these states is a precursor to a hat-trick in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
