Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal approves purchase of land for road in Kaithal

Chandigarh, January 25

Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal, while chairing the review meeting of the Committee of Secretaries for the purchase of land through the e-Bhoomi portal held here today accorded approval to purchase 0.41 acres of land for the construction of road from village Shadipur to Majri Patti in Kaithal district, which will cost about Rs 5.74 lakh after taking consent of landowners for the landholdings to be purchased through e-Bhoomi.

The Chief Secretary directed the concerned Deputy Commissioners that the implementation of the proposed projects should be expedited.

“As per the orders of the Chief Minister, the collector rates should be made more realistic, which should be revenue-friendly for the landowners as well as for the state government,” directed Kaushal.

In today’s meeting, discussions were held regarding the purchase of land for a total of 18 projects, out of which the Chief Secretary accorded approval for one and gave recommendations to send 2 projects for final approval from the High Power Land Purchase Committee.

While sharing the details regarding the purchase of land for the construction of the road from Lalyana to Chhota Baraula on Tangri River in Ambala district, the Chief Secretary was appraised that landowners have already registered their consent on the e-Bhoomi portal. Similarly, consent of the landowners for the construction of road from Machrauli to Patasni village in Jhajjar district has also been registered.

The Chief Secretary was informed that the land purchase process will be finalized soon after further talks with the landowners, after which Kaushal recommended sending these projects to the High-Power Land Purchase Committee for getting the final approval.

In the meeting, information was given regarding the construction of new district jail in Panchkula and Kaushal directed the Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula to take action to find a new site for this project and submit the report within 15 days.

During the meeting, the status regarding the construction of Road and Bridge for Greater Noida via Jassana Manjhawali Atta Gujran over Yamuna River under Interstate Connectivity Scheme of Central Road Fund Phase 2, construction of road from Majra Dubaldhan to Jattela Dham in Jhajjar, construction of Bypass at Punhana in Nuh, construction of Bypass at Pinangwan in Nuh, construction of new road from Nuh Palwal Road Village Mannaki Jogipur Hathin Road Village Tain, construction of Road from Hisar to Jind, construction of four lane Gohana Bypass, and construction of New Four laning road of Chhuchhakwas bypass in Jhajjar was discussed in detail.

The Chief Secretary was also apprised about the construction of New Bypass Road in Narnaund Town in Hisar, construction of road Neoli Kalan to Durjanpur in Hisar, construction of 2 Lane ROB on Ladwa Saraswati Nagar Road at Level Yamuna Crossing LC 106 Ambala Saharanpur Railway line in Yamunanagar, construction of connecting road from NH-44 to NH-334/B in Sonipat, and construction of new road from village Teon to Bajana Kalan in Sonipat.

The Chief Secretary directed the concerned Deputy Commissioners to complete the process by holding meetings with the landowners for the speedy implementation of the above projects. Additional Chief Secretary, and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments P. K. Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department T. V. S. N. Prasad also remained present. Besides this, the Deputy Commissioners of Faridabad, Jhajjar, Nuh, Sonipat, Ambala, Kaithal, Hisar, Yamunanagar and Panchkula districts also attended the meeting through video conferencing
