CodeSphere 2026 Hackathon Begins at SGT University Campus
A 36-hour on-site hackathon, CodeSphere 2026, is currently taking place at SGT University. This event is gathering student innovators to develop technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges, organized by the ACIC-SGTU Community Innovation Center.
The hackathon follows a continuous format, where participating teams are required to design and build working prototypes within a fixed time frame. Students, organized into teams of three to five members, are focusing on problem statements across various sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, AIoT, and community innovation.
According to the organizers, the primary objective of the hackathon is to promote innovation, technical depth, and practical problem-solving among students. Mentors and coordinators are available throughout the event to provide guidance on technical and design aspects, while execution is the responsibility of the participating teams.
The event will conclude with a presentation round, where shortlisted teams will showcase their solutions before a panel of judges. Evaluations will be based on several parameters, including innovation, feasibility, technical implementation, and clarity of presentation. Teams are expected to demonstrate their prototypes and explain their approach, architecture, and potential real-world applications.
Shri Khalid Wani, Co-Founder, Mentor, and Board Advisor at VsachiTech, will attend the event as the Chief Guest. His presence is anticipated to add value to the event by encouraging innovation and fostering interaction with the student community.
CodeSphere 2026 reflects the growing emphasis on innovation-driven learning at SGT University, providing students with a platform to apply their technical knowledge in a competitive and time-constrained environment. The event underscores the importance of hands-on experience, collaboration, and problem-solving in preparing students for real-world challenges.
