Department of Public Health Dentistry, SGT University, organises Oral Health Screening and Treatment Camp at Kherla Village.

Department of Public Health Dentistry Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University, Gurugram on Wednesday organized an oral health screening and treatment camp at Kherla Village in association with SGT Publicity Team. The team was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Tanvi Bhardwaj, Conservative and Endodontics Dr. Raghu, two post-graduate students Dr. Megha from Periodontics and Dr. Prabodh from Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, along with five interns and two attendants. A total of 56 patients were examined and 18 patients were treated in Mobile Dental Van, SGT University that included scalings, restorations, and extractions. Oral health education was imparted to the people and proper brushing technique was demonstrated. The main purpose of the Oral Health check-up was to create awareness among the community and make them understand the importance of oral health. Patients who required complex treatment were referred to SGT Hospital. The general population gave positive feedback and appreciated the check-up and treatment provided by the Dental Team.
