Department of Surgery Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences organises a hands-on workshop on stapler techniques

On 19th February SGT University’s department of Surgery Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences has organised a hands on workshop. Head of the department & professor of surgery Dr. P N Agarwal gave a live demonstration of staplers in general surgery. Surgical stapling devices have been used in an attempt to achieve better patient outcomes. Dr Dinesh Walia professor of Biostatistics at Govt Medical Cpllege Chandigarh and Dr. Sudhir Kumar Jain professor at ESI Faridabad was the guest lecture. The workshop was attended by the 22 Research Enthusiasts, 13 faculty members and PGs from the department of Community Medicine. A query session was also addressed on the various issues raised by the participants regarding their research studies. The training was highly appreciated by the participants and they even suggested that more such trainings should be held to improve research work.
