Faculty of Nursing organized Hands-on-Training on Infection Control practices

Faculty of Nursing, SGT University organized Hands-on-Training on Infection Control practices on 16th May 2023 in Auditorium, SGT Hospital from 10:00 A.m. onwards. The Hands-On-Training was provided by Ms. Anju, who works as a Clinical Educator in Medanta-The Medicity, Gurugrum.

The objective of this program was to educate and train participants regarding proper techniques and protocols for preventing and controlling the spread of infections and also to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement effective infection control measures in various settings.

 

The program was organized under the guidance and direction of Prof.(Dr.) Pity Koul, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University & Prof. (Dr.) Sunil K. Dular, HOD of Community Health Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing. The event was coordinated by Ms. Keerti and Ms. Sapna, Faculty of Nursing. Ms. Nicky Tyagi, Alumni Coordinator welcomed and addressed the gathering.

 

A wide range of topics, including Infection Control Care Bundles, Hand Hygiene, Donning and Doffing, Needle Stick Injury and Bio-medical Waste Management, were covered in the Hands-On-Training program. The session was highly interactive and participants enthusiastically asked questions.
