Health Minister Vij Forms 6 Teams To Credit Salaries Of Contractual Employees Within Stipulated Time
Chandigarh, November 11– Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said that six teams have been constituted at the headquarter level to ensure that the contractual employees of the Health Department get their salaries on time.
Vij was presiding over a review meeting with the higher officials of the Health Department regarding the functioning of the Department here today.
The Health Department officials apprised Vij that within the next four days, all these teams will submit their report at the headquarters regarding the salary of the contractual employees at their respective level.
The Health Minister was also apprised in the meeting that through these teams, a written confirmation would also be taken from all such contractual employees regarding the salary being deposited in their accounts to ensure that these employees have got their salary for a particular month. The Health Minister was also informed that about 14,000 contractual employees are working with the Health Department.
During the meeting, the Health Minister directed the officials to enhance the pace of Covid vaccination and said that there is a need to focus, especially on the Nuh district. He said that around 2,64,86,000 beneficiaries have been vaccinated for COVID in Haryana so far.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Director General of AYUSH Department, Dr Saket Kumar, Director General of Health Services, Dr. Veena Singh and other senior officers were present.
