North Korea has once again showcased its power, potentially escalating tensions in the region. Conducting its first-ever nuclear counter-attack drill, North Korea under the leadership of its dictator Kim Jong-un has stirred tensions.

The drill has heightened tensions in the area. Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, orchestrated this drill as a warning to adversaries, termed as the ‘nuclear trigger management system drill.’

According to North Korea’s military, they fired several ballistic missiles towards the distant sea from their eastern coast on Monday. The purpose of this drill was to counter the aggressive military exercises of the United States and South Korea.

Kim Jong-un inspected a simulation exercise where soldiers were deployed and fired artillery with nuclear weapons.

Alongside this drill, North Korea also launched a strategic cruise missile, aimed at issuing a warning to the United States and its allied nations.
