SGT Medical College, Hospital, and Research Institute is now fully NABH accredited

SGT Medical College Hospital & Research Institute is now a fully NABH accredited hospital.
In fact, this is the first Medical College & Hospital in Delhi and NCR region that is fully accredited by NABH based on the 5th Edition.
A spokesperson of the SGT Medical College and Hospital said that this is a big milestone for the hospital and the SGT University to achieve this prestigious accreditation of quality by the national accreditation board of hospital & health care, a constituent board of Quality Council of India.
“Our Hospital is committed to creating a culture of quality, patient safety, efficiency, and accountability towards patient care. The patients are the greatest beneficiaries of full NABH accreditation as it ensures a high degree of care and patient safety at the hospital. This implies that the patients are being taken care of by appropriately qualified medical staff and their rights such as respect for personal dignity, confidentiality, refusal to treatment, record accessibility are protected,” the spokesperson said.
He said that the NABH certificate is another feather in the hospital’s endeavour to provide quality healthcare. This accreditation will further motivate doctors and paramedics working there in maintaining a high degree of quality of services and would help the hospital perform up to its full potential and achieve benchmarks that it has set for itself.
All the laboratories of our hospital such as Molecular (Covid Lab – last two years) Pathology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry are also NABL accredited for the last one year.
National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers), abbreviated as NABH, is a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI), set up to establish and operate accreditation programmes for healthcare organizations. Formed in 2005, it is the principal accreditation for hospitals in India.
