SGT University, conducted a state level update CME “PEDIATRICS 2023- Exchanging Knowledge and Perception”
In continuation with its pursuit for academic excellence, the Department of Pediatrics, FMHS, SGT University, under the aegis of IAP Haryana and IAP Gurugram and, able guidance of Dr. Pankaj Abrol as Professor & Head and Organizing Chairperson for the event along with Organizing Secretaries, Dr. Satya Kiran Kapur, Dr. Nidhi Bedi & Dr. Richa of SGT University, conducted a state level update CME “PEDIATRICS 2023- Exchanging Knowledge and Perception” on 05.03.2023 in SGT Hospital Auditorium & Committee room. The title of this CME was ‘PEDIATRICS 2023- Exchanging Knowledge and Perception.’ It was a multispecialty CME covering varied topics in pediatric super specialties like Hemato-oncology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neonatology, and Intensive care. Distinguished speakers who had come from Medanta Hospital Gurugram, Motherhood Women & Children Hospital, Gurugram, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, Fortis Hospital, Gurugram, Artemis Hospital, Gurugram, AIIMS, New Delhi, BLK-MAX Super specialty Hospital, New Delhi and SGT Medical College itself delivered excellent talks. One hundred and twenty-five delegates were registered, who had come from Delhi, Gurgaon, PGIMS Rohtak, and other parts of Haryana. There was also a session for E- posters (no. 22) & E- paper (no. 11) presentation in this CME.
It was quite an interactive CME as experts of international caliber interacted freely with postgraduate students and the delegates. Such academic activities with the experts having international level experience go a long way in giving excellent exposure to the postgraduate students, boosting their self-confidence and ability to take decisions; ultimately contributing to an improvement in patient care.
