SGT University signs MoU with Indonesia’s Physiotherapy School of Academy

On August 9, 2022, the Faculty of Physiotherapy at SGT University signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Physiotherapy School of Academy YAB(PAY), Indonesia, to declare their shared interest in the advancement of academic and research-related activities to enhance their capacity and excellence in teaching, research, and community services. By the MOU, the main activities were coordinating conferences, broadening the fields of teaching and research, and exchanging academic materials to improve the curriculum. Faculty and students were also exchanged for research collaboration in their areas of interest.
In addition, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed by Sultan Ageing Tirtayasa University in Indonesia and SGT University to enhance capacity and clinical excellence in the fields of sports science, medical study programs, nursing nutrition, and dietician in allied health sciences. The MOU put a lot of emphasis on student exchanges for clinical training. To maintain a solid and ongoing partnership, the MOU with Pontianak Aisyiah Politeknik was also extended for an additional three years.
Dr. Joginder Yadav, Registrar of SGT University, and Dr. Imam from the Physiotherapy School of Academy YAB(PAY), Indonesia, both signed the MOU. Dr. Pooja Anand, Dean of FPHY, Mr. Rajneesh Wadhwa, Head of International Affairs, Dr. Shyam Lal Singla, Advisor to FPHY, and three representatives from Indonesia—Drs. Imam Waluyo, Siti Farida, and Eka Riana—were there to grace the occasion. Through this MOU, our students will be able to put their expertise to use and explore different angles in a range of disciplines.
