SGT University’s Faculty of Dental Sciences holds oral health screening camp for the people of Gudhana Village in Gurugram.

On 17th February 2022 (Thursday) The Department of Public Health Dentistry and Faculty of Dental Sciences in SGT University conducted an oral health screening camp at Gudhana village, Gurugram. It was organized under the aegis of SGT Medical Hospital & Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences and SGT Publicity Team. The initiative of the Dental team was under the guidance of Dr. Shourya Tandon (Prof. & Head Associate Dean). The camp was headed by Dr. Meenakshi Chopra (Reader, Department of Public Health Dentistry) along with one Intern Ms. Nitika and one attendant Mr. Raj Kumar. A total of 54 patients including 18 males and 36 females were examined and patients who required serious dental treatment were referred to SGT Hospital. A proper demonstration brushing technique was given to people and the people present there were asked to give feedback. Positive feedback was given by the population and they appreciated the check-up and patient care provided by the Dental Team, they also acknowledged the way the Dental team heard and attended to their problems with compassion. The main purpose of conducting the Oral Health check-up was to create awareness among the community and make them understand the importance of oral health.
