The Faculty of Nursing, SGT University celebrates “World Earth Day” at Primary Health Centers Garhi Harsaru village.

The Department of Child Health Nursing under the aegis of the Institution Innovation Council celebrated “World Earth Day” on 22nd of April, Saturday at PHC Garhi Harsaru village in Gurugram, Haryana. The event aimed at creating awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. The event was coordinated by Miss Kul Pooja, Assistant Professor, and Miss Neetu Kumara, PG Tutor, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pity Koul, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University, and Miss Sarika Yadav, Associate Professor, Dept. of Child Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University. The students of the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of the Faculty of Nursing performed a role-play highlighting the need to save plants to save the earth. The role-play was followed by planting trees by GNM students and PHC workers in Ghari, Harsaru village. The event was a huge success, with the participants spreading the message of environmental conservation and the importance of preserving nature. The Faculty of Nursing, at SGT University, is committed to promoting sustainable living and creating awareness about the significance of environmental conservation.
