ACIC of SGT University organizes “Ideathon 2.0

The Atal Community Innovation Center of SGT University organized “Ideathon 2.0” to encourage problem-solving and innovation among college students. The event was held under the banner of the 75th anniversary of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The winners of the competition were awarded prize money of seventy-five thousand rupees based on different theme-based categories.

The prize was distributed by Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Pro-Chancellor of SGT University. Rishi Sharma, Incubation Manager; Bakul Dev Rai, Incubation Associate; along with Parveen Kumar and Amit Jangir, coordinated the event.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma expressed his appreciation for the participating students and congratulated them on their impressive efforts. He emphasized the importance of promoting creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving among students, which he believes will be a key to their success in future endeavors.

Rishi Sharma further added that an “Ideathon 2.0” would encourage students to view problems through a business lens and develop their ideas into start-ups. He also added that sixty-five teams from SGT University participated in the event, and seventeen teams advanced to the grand finale.

Bakul Dev Rai highlighted that the program aimed to cultivate problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a team in a competitive environment. ACIC-SGTU is an initiative to provide a platform for students to turn their ideas into actionable startups.
