The Smile Train Foundation, in collaboration with SGT University, celebrates Mother’s Day

SGT University, in collaboration with the Smile Train Foundation, celebrated mother’s day in the dental department.

Smile Train is a non-profit organization and charity that supports 100%-free cleft repair surgery and comprehensive cleft care for children globally.

The event began with a welcome talk and the introduction of the speaker.

The program’s speaker was Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Head, Department of oral and maxillofacial surgery and Project Director, Smile train.

A lecture was delivered by Dr. Bindoo, Head, Department of gynecology and obstetrics, on the topic “Importance of nutrition during motherhood.”

Later, a talk on nutrition and feeding techniques for children with a cleft was initiated by Dr. Shashi, Professor, Department of Paediatrics.
