SGT University Signs MoU with Dabur Research Foundation
SGT University has strengthened its commitment to research, innovation and industry–academia collaboration with the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dabur Research Foundation (DRF) and Althea DRF Lifesciences Ltd. on 16 September 2026.
The MoU signing ceremony marked an important step towards creating new opportunities for collaborative research, knowledge exchange and innovation across multiple disciplines. The partnership is aimed at connecting academic expertise with industry-driven research and developing opportunities with meaningful applications in life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and allied areas.
SGT University welcomed Dr. Manu Jaggi and Dr. Anu T. Singh from Dabur during their visit to the University. Their presence provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction between the academic and industry communities and opened avenues for exploring future research collaborations.
As part of the visit, members of the DRF and Althea team toured several key facilities at SGT University. The delegation visited the National Reference Simulation Centre (NRSC), Central Scientific Instrumentation Facility, RISUG Centre, Central Synthetic Chemistry Lab, SGT Hospital and the Department of Ayurveda.
The visit offered the team an insight into the University’s multidisciplinary research capabilities, advanced infrastructure and integrated healthcare ecosystem. It also highlighted the potential for collaboration across different academic and research domains.
The partnership seeks to promote joint research projects, knowledge sharing, innovation and translational opportunities, creating a platform where academic ideas and industry expertise can come together to address emerging challenges.
The MoU reflects SGT University’s continued efforts to build strong institutional partnerships and expand its research ecosystem through meaningful industry engagement.
