The Department of Public Health Dentistry organized a Dental check-up and Treatment Camp at Ujina Village, Nuh District, Haryana.

The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University organized a Dental check-up and Treatment Camp in collaboration with the SGT Publicity team on 20th April 2023 (Thursday) at Ujina Village, Nuh District, Haryana. The Dental team was headed by Dr. Charu Khurana (Reader, Department of Public Health Dentistry) along with 6 BDS Interns Gaurav, Amit, Mohini, Asha, Lokesh and Komal along with 1 attendant Mr. Sunil. Oral health checkup of a total of 54 individuals were carried out including 26 males and 28 females. Of which, 16 patients were provided professional cleaning of teeth in the Mobile Dental Van of SGT University. All patients suffering from complex dental problems were informed and advised for appropriate dental treatment and referred to the SGT Dental Hospital, Gurugram. Medicines and Oral Hygiene aids such as toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwashes were also distributed among the attendees of the dental camp. The session on importance of Oral Health, Oral hygiene practices, adverse oral habits, adopting a healthy lifestyle through brushing techniques, models and charts was imparted toall the patients who attended the camp. All the villagers expressed their gratitude to dental
team for their efforts to make the Oral Health Drive a successful event.
