Aerobics by students mark Day 3 of SGT Physio Exuberance 2022

Day 3 of SGT Physio Exuberance 2022 commenced with an aerobics flash mob by the students of the Faculty of Physiotherapy and faculty members. 178 students, 17 teachers and Dr. Pooja Anand (Dean FPHY) participated to create awareness and motivation for performing the exercises and to remain active, relaxed and healthy in their daily life. This surprise element was executed at three stations i.e. in front of E Block, A Block and between B – C Block Whole university was asked to come out of their respective buildings and join the second session done by team physiotherapy. All the university officials and students enjoyed the aerobic sessions and joined the mob with full motivation. It was well planned and coordinated by Dr. Aditi (Assistant Professor) After this, the inauguration ceremony was conducted in the sports ground for sports competitions. Dr. Rakesh Sharma (Pro Chancellor), Dr. O. P. Kalra (VC) and Dr. Pooja Anand (Dean FPHY) inaugurated the inter university physio fest “SGT PHYSIO EXUBERANCE -DAY 3” by cutting the ribbon. Undergraduate physiotherapy students performed a highly energetic group dance to transfer the energy in participants after which the competitions were initiated. Sports competitions included in today’s event were: 100mtr race competition, lemon race competition, skipping, volleyball, chess, burpees, plank hold, treasure hunt. 221 students from 12 universities (Manav Rachna Institute of Research and Study, Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Physiotherapy, RPIIT, Jaggan Nath University, TDTR DAV COLLEGE, D.P.G Degree College, Starex University, Amity University, G.D. Goenka University, Kailash Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science, RPIIMS, DPSRU) are participating in this inter university physio fest. Dr. Himanshu (Assistant Professor) did a commendable job as a commentator and also coordinated the whole event for the day along with Dr. Sajjan Pal Yadav (Assistant Professor)
