SGT Physio Exuberance 2022 begins

World Physiotherapy Day is celebrated every year on 8th of September. The day marks the unity and solidarity of the global physiotherapy community. It is an opportunity to recognise the work that physiotherapists do for their patients and community. Using World PT Day as a focus, World Physiotherapy aims to support member organisations in their efforts to promote the profession and advance their expertise. This year Faculty of physiotherapy at SGT University has organized a 4 day event “SGT PHYSIO EXUBERANCE 2022” to raise awareness about the crucial contribution professional makes to keeping people well, mobile and independent.
On 7th September, we organised a Health camp in which more than 200 people were assessment and evaluated. On 8th of September Debate competition was held followed by Expert talk with Dr. Kapil Chauhan was arranged at C block auditorium. Dean Physiotherapy Prof. Dr. Pooja Anand welcomed the gathering. It was followed by traditional lamp lightening ceremony by the respected guests and faculty. Pro chancellor Prof. Dr. Rakesh Sharma graced the occasion and blessed the students. Vice chancellor Prof. Dr. O P Kalra blessed the students and gave motivational speech to the audience.
A very conversant talk was given by Dr. Kapil Chauhan which helped in enhancing the knowledge base of the students. Our sponsors from Biomed and AD Instruments also gave a enlightening presentation on their products which was followed by scrumptious Lunch at B block.
After lunch the event continued with E- Poster competition and Quiz competition.
On 9TH and 10th of September Sports and Cultural events are to be held at inter-university level for which we have received good amount of entries already.
