AYUSHKAMIYAM 2022 : A National Conference on Exploring the recent trends in “ASHTANGA AYURVEDA”
Two days National Conference on exploring the recent trends in Ashtang Ayurveda started from 18th November, 2022. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General, CCRAS, New Delhi as Chief Guest with his address in the presence of Dignitaries Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Pro-Chancellor, SGT University, Gurugram, along with the organizers Dr. Prasanna V Savanur, Dean, FIMS; Dr. Avnish Pathak, Dr. Jyoti Kumbar, Dr. Milind Deshmukh, Dr. Neeraj Gupta. And all the delegates, faculty members and students of FIMS, SGTU.
Inauguration started with welcome address by Dr. Prasanna V Savanur, Introduction & felicitation of the Chief Guest followed by the release of a book by Dr. Anupama Patra and another one by Dr. Nithin Krishnan and an App. Named TORPEDO 1, Developed by Dr. Nithin and Dr. Mamta Dahiya. Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Neeraj Gupta & the inauguration concluded with high enthusiasm.
High tea was followed by key note address delivered by Dr. Rabinarayan Acharya and 3 scientific sessions delivered by Dr. Ashish Mehta, Dr. Keshav Chauhan, Dr. Anupama Patra & the Scientific sessions were followed by a tea break. Cultural programs started at 6 p.m followed by Dinner at 7:30 p.m. and this concluded the first day of the Seminar. The First day was a unique experience for the delegates from different parts of the country and within the institute.
On the second day, 19th November 2022, of the National Conference commenced with Parallel sessions of paper presentations and poster presentations. The scientific sessions started soon after the presentations of Dr. Rajiv Rastogi, Dean FNYS, SGTU; Dr. Sujata Kadam, Dean, AIIA, Goa, Dr. Rajagopala S, Professor and Head, Dept. of Bala Roga, AIIA, New Delhi, Dr. Gopikrishna S, Assistant Professor, VPSV Ayurveda college, Kottakkal, Kerala & Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Vice Chancellor, NIA, Jaipur.
All the scientific sessions followed a brief interactive session for raising any queries from the delegates.
Valedictory Program then followed the 5th scientific session. The valedictory program started with Prayer and lamp lightening by all the dignitaries and Welcome address was given by Dr. Milind Deshmukh, Associate Professor, Dept. Rachna Shareera, FIMS, SGTU. Institutional Profile & Conference Report Reading was done by Dr. Prasanna V Savanur, Dean, FIMS, SGTU, after which introduction of Chief guest & Felicitation was done and Souvenir was released. Prize distribution was done to encourage the winners and Guest speech was delivered by Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Vice Chancellor, NIA, Jaipur. The Presidential speech was delivered by Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Pro Chancellor, SGTU, Gurugram followed by Vote of Thanks by Dr. Jyoti Kumbar, Professor, Dept. Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga, FIMS, SGTU, Gurugram.
The event was concluded by National Anthem and was followed by Lunch. This concluded the National Conference on Exploring the recent trends in Ashtang Ayurveda.
