Delhi Launches Major Crackdown On Illegal Constructions Across Capital
Delhi authorities have intensified their anti-encroachment and anti-unauthorized construction campaigns across the capital due to growing concerns about civic safety and a recent rise in incidents of structural collapse. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), in collaboration with Delhi Police, has launched large-scale enforcement operations in several areas of the city, including Uttam Nagar, Shalimar Bagh, and Mangolpuri.

Authorities have encouraged residents to actively report illegal construction, land encroachment, and unauthorized commercial operations. Citizens can submit complaints through official municipal portals, after which inspection teams will investigate the reported properties.
