DU UG Admissions 2024: CSAS Launched with New Seats for Single-Child Girl Students
Reported by Tannu Jangra
Delhi University has kicked off the undergraduate admissions process for the academic year 2024-25 with the launch of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). This new system, announced on Tuesday, will streamline the admissions process and includes some exciting updates.
One of the major highlights is the introduction of supernumerary seats specifically for single-child girl students in every course. This initiative aims to encourage more single-child girls to pursue higher education.
Admissions will be based on either CUET scores or class 12 marks, depending on the course. The CSAS website is now open for student registrations.
In addition to regular courses, DU has also started admissions for the School of Open Learning and the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB), providing flexible learning options for students.
