The prices for commercial LPG gas cylinders have increased

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have implemented a Rs 21 per cylinder increase in commercial LPG prices across various locations in the country, effective from December 1. This hike is expected to impact the restaurant and food business, potentially affecting the dining expenses of individuals. Post the adjustment, the new rates for a 19-kg LPG cylinder are Rs 1796.50 in Delhi, Rs 1908 in Kolkata, Rs 1749 in Mumbai, and Rs 1968.50 in Chennai. Notably, the revision follows a Rs 100 increase on November 1 and a subsequent Rs 57 reduction on November 16. Fortunately, domestic consumers can find relief as there are no changes in the price of the 14.2 kg LPG gas cylinder used in household kitchens, which remains at Rs 903 per cylinder. Earlier, the government had reduced the price of this cylinder by Rs 200. The official website of Indian Oil indicates that in Delhi, it is available for Rs 903, in Noida for Rs 900.50, in Kolkata for Rs 929, in Mumbai for Rs 902.50, and in Chennai for Rs 918.50.
