Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University organises inter-college quiz competition PRASHNA MANCH 2022

Faculty of Indian Medical System under the banner of Gyanamrit Association in collaboration with the Department of Shalya Tantra hosted an inter-college quiz competition PRASHNA MANCH 2022 on Saturday for the scholars of BAMS. The event received an overwhelming response from various Ayurveda colleges. The event included 4 teams from 4 different colleges viz A. & U. Tibbia College, New Delhi, CBPACS, Haryana, GSAMC Uttar Pradesh and Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University.

The event was presided by Prof. (Dr.) R.C. Kuhad, Honourable Pro-Chancellor, SGT University and Prof. (Dr.) Prasanna V. Savanur, Dean FIMS, SGT University. Prof. Kuhad highlighted the relevance of Science over Language in his presidential address. Prof. Savanur highlighted the relevance of quizzes and their role in encouraging teaching beyond the classroom. The event started by seeking the blessings of Lord Dhanwantari through Dhanwantari vanda (by Ms. Tanvi & Ms. Nivedita) and lamp lighting by the dignitaries.

Each team included 4 members and the quiz competition was held in 6 interesting rounds. Team-D GS AYURVEDA Medical College grabbed the Winner’s Trophy and the 1st runner-up trophy was bagged by Team A – CBPACS, Haryana. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Supriya Gupta, Associate Professor, Dept of Shalya Tantra, FIMS, SGT University.
