Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences SGT University holds health camp at Hussain Ka Ghudana village

Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences SGT University organised a health camp at Hussain Ka Ghudana village on 17 February. During this camp, a team of doctors from Dental, Ophthalmology, Paediatric, Ortho, General provided services to villagers. A total of 128 patients, in which 57 Dental, 54 – Ophthalmology, 15 – Paediatric, 50 – General, 18 – Ortho patients were examined. In this camp, many patients availed the services of doctors and free medicines were prescribed and distributed to patients who attended the camp. During the camp, the people of the village gave positive feedback and appreciated the check-up and patient care provided by the teams of the doctors. They acknowledged the way the team of doctors attended to their problems with compassion. Those patients requiring further investigations and treatment will be transported free to SGT Hospital, Gurugram and consultation will be provided at the hospital. This camp was organised under the guidance of the Nodal Officer Dr. Jagbir Malik and dental and the activities in this camp were headed by Dr. Yogesh Yadav. The purpose of this Health camp was to create awareness among the community and make them understand the importance of their health.
