Faculty of Physiotherapy organises a Hands-on Workshop on Biostatistical Analysis on SPSS Software
Association of Sports, Health & Fitness, Faculty of Physiotherapy, SGT University organized a two days hands-on workshop on “Bio-statistical Analysis on SPSS software on 25 th May-26 th May, 2023. The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Pooja Anand, Dean, Faculty of Physiotherapy, Prof. Ejaz Hussain (Guest of Honour), Dean, Allied Health Sciences, SGT University. Renowned names in the field of research Dr. Tanu Anand, Scientist-D, Indian Council of Medical Research and Dr. Shekhar Grover, Consultant in CHIP Foundation were resource persons for the workshop. Dr. Tanu has got more than 11 years of experience in the field of community medicine and she has worked in various prestigious organizations such as Maulana Azad Medical College prior to her appointment in ICMR. Dr. Shekhar also holds a professional experience of 11 years in the area of public health dentistry and is currently associated with ICMR-NICPR as an adjunct faculty. During the two days’ workshop, all statistical analysis procedures were taught in detail with theory sessions supplemented with hands-on sessions by Dr. Anand and Dr. Grover. This workshop came out to be extremely beneficial for both PG students and Ph.D. scholars of SGT University for fulfilling their research endeavours. 75 participants from the University were benefitted from this workshop.
