Mystery X 2026 Concludes at SGT University with 470+ Registrations and 11 Competitions
Mystery X 2026, the two-day Inter-University Forensic Fest organised by the Department of Forensic Science and 360° Forensic Club, School of Basic & Applied Sciences, SGT University, successfully concluded on September 8 and 9, 2026.
The fest witnessed an enthusiastic response from students, recording more than 470 registrations and bringing together participants from SGT University and other institutions. Designed to provide an engaging platform for students interested in forensic science, the event combined academic learning with competition, creativity and practical engagement.
Across the two days, participants took part in 11 competitions that encouraged them to apply observation, analytical thinking, investigation and teamwork skills. The activities provided students with opportunities to explore different dimensions of forensic science while engaging in a competitive and collaborative environment.
A major highlight of Mystery X 2026 was the inauguration of the Mobile Forensic Lab by Smt. Nirmal Kaur, IPS, DGP Jharkhand (Retd.). The facility added significance to the event by highlighting the role of modern forensic infrastructure and technology in investigation and evidence-based practices.
The fest also served as a platform for students to interact beyond conventional classroom settings and experience the practical and interdisciplinary nature of forensic science. Through competitions and hands-on engagement, participants were encouraged to connect theoretical concepts with investigative approaches.
The successful conclusion of Mystery X 2026 reflected the growing relevance of experiential learning in higher education, particularly in specialised fields such as forensic science. Events of this nature allow students to develop professional skills while gaining exposure to real-world applications of their academic knowledge.
